PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

All FM TMT® products, whether rods or complementary (angles, bars and profiles), are produced from recycled metal scrap, purchased in Angola, and have the following advantages:

    • a. Requires less energy than steel production from iron ore;
    • b. Reduces the need for landfills;
      c. Prevents the accumulation of abandoned steel waste.

 

They also have:

  • Greater mechanical strength, better tensile strength and excellent elongation percentage.
  • Greater ease of bending, better weldability and greater durability.
  • Good corrosion resistance properties and greater seismic resistance.
  • Greater thermal stability, ideal for high temperatures. FM TMT® registered trademark visible on all products (rods, angles, bars and profiles) produced locally.

PACKAGING

  • Automatic packaging, with appropriate labeling, in bundles/ lots of up to 2 tons and 12 meters long (rods). Complementary products available in 6 meters (angles, bars and profiles).
  • Each bundle/lot contains a standard number of units, grouped by size and length, and securely tied with wire at 2.4 meter intervals (in 5 or 6 points).
  • Each bundle/lot is identified with a unit label, indicating the international standard used, the dimension, the number of units and the production date.

DIMENSIONS

  • Available diameters for Rebars: 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 25 and 32 mm.
  • Standard length: 12 m
  • Possible lengths on request: 3, 6 and 9 m;
  • Complementares (Cantoneiras, Barras e Perfis) disponíveis em 6 mts.
