As promised, yesterday, April 15, Fabrimetal fulfilled its commitment to the economist and journalist, Carlos Rosado de Carvalho,<\/a> in \u201c1st Economy 100 Makas Conference\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the seriousness of the topic, \u201cCOMPETITIVENESS \u2013 THE KEY TO A MORE DEVELOPED AND INCLUSIVE ANGOLA,\u201d we had a very light-hearted conference, making it both informative and enjoyable, with plenty of humor. \ud83d\ude01<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference took place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and was divided into three topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1.  During the first topic on \u201cThe state of the art of competitiveness in Angola,\u201d Dr. Alves da Rocha commented as follows... \u201cThe problem of competitiveness is not unique to Angola. At this moment, competitiveness is a global problem,\u201d going on to mention Germany, which, despite being the largest economy in the European Union, still, for this year, the Germany<\/strong> forecasts a growth rate of less than 1%.

    What bureaucratic procedures do we have?\" asked the Dr. Alves da Rocha,<\/strong> mentioning the \u201cproblem\u201d of \u201cGASOSA\u201d \ud83d\udc40\ud83e\udef1\ud83c\udffe\u200d\ud83e\udef2\ud83c\udffd and the difficulties Angolans face when dealing with passports. \ud83d\udec2

  2. In the second topic, led by Coordinator: Fernandes Wanda,<\/strong> was about \u201cWhat can we learn from neighboring countries?\u201d \ud83c\udfaf

    \u201cCan money buy competitiveness?\u201d \ud83d\udcb8\ud83e\udd14 Renowned Coor. Fernandes Wanda answered this question. His ideas made us rethink the true value of resources in the competitive landscape.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. How do you think we can increase Angola's competitiveness? This was topic 3, led by Doc. Heitor Carvalho.
    The importance of human capital was emphasized once again.
