PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

  • Todos os produtos, varão ou complementares (cantoneiras, barras e perfis) tem marca registada FM TMT®, são produzidos localmente e a partir de sucata de metal reciclada, comprada em Angola, e têm as seguintes vantagens:
    a. It requires less energy than producing steel from iron ore;
    b. Reduces the need for landfills;
    c. Prevents the accumulation of abandoned steel waste.

    They also have:

  • Higher mechanical strength, better tensile strength and excellent elongation percentage.
  • Easier to bend, better weldability and greater durability.
  • Good corrosion resistance properties and greater seismic resistance.
  • Greater thermal stability, ideal for high temperatures.

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION

  • Embalamento automático, com etiquetagem adequada, em atados/lotes de até 2 toneladas e comprimento de 12 metros (varões). Produtos complementares disponíveis em 6 metros (cantoneiras, barras e perfis).
  • Each bundle contains a standard number of units, grouped by size and length, and securely tied together with wire at 2.4 meter intervals (at 5 or 6 points).
  • Each tie/batch is identified with a unit label, indicating the international standard used, the size, the number of units and the production date.

MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Available rod diameters: 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 25 and 32 mm;
  • Standard length: 12 meters (mts);
  • Possible lengths to order: 3, 6 and 9 meters;
  • Complementares (cantoneiras, barras e perfis) disponíveis em 6 mts.
